Hosea House

Hosea House is about rebuilding broken lives. Thousands of young people all over Cambodia are being drawn into substance misuse. This is particularly concerning when linked with injecting drug users and HIV as HIV infection is increasing among injecting drug users.

Hosea Ministries reaches out to children and young people that misuse substances. We work with the young persons their family and their communities looking at holistic interventions that address, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Hosea House: Assessment Centre

Hosea Ministries provides alcohol and substance misuse assessment programme at the centre. At the centre we offer young people and their family’s holistic support using a variety of therapeutic approaches, which include:

  • Photographic and Art Therapy
  • Family Therapy
  • Sports / Physical Therapy
  • Brief Interventions
  • Self-Help Groups
  • Counselling and Group Therapy

These interventions are designed to address the whole person. Children can self-refer to the centre or they can be referred to the centre by friends, family and other organisations. We build relationships with the children and their families and help the explore pathways to freedom from substance misuse and addiction.

The centre is staffed by Cambodian nationals with the support of a variety of local and international advisors. We work in partnership with a wide variety of organisations in order to offer the children and youth hope and opportunities to rebuild their lives.

Hosea House: Residential Rehabilitation Centre

Hosea House offers residential rehabilitation for young people with alcohol and substance misuse problems. The young people receive 24 hour care 7 days a week. The centre offers a safe and secure environment. The centre offers a variety of therapeutic services, which include:

  • Drug and Alcohol Detoxification
  • Sports Therapy
  • Arts and Photographic Therapy
  • Individual Counselling
  • Therapeutic Groups
  • Life Skills
  • Vocational Training
